During the program, we stayed at RSTC hostel. It is one of hostels under CLSU which is located in CLSU area. Luckily, it is located not far from our cooperating school. We only needed 2 minutes to go there from the hostel by walking. I really liked the morning atmosphere that we used to see in every morning here. The environment which is surrounded by shady trees, making the morning atmosphere refreshes the eyes and gives a sense of peace in the heart. Moreover, the use of motorbikes is very minimal here unlike in my place. Most of the people here are prefered to walk or use the transportation vehicle called the Tricycle to go somewhere. Only a few uses cars. So, this is a very peaceful thing for me to escape from the hustle and bustle of the vehicle.
I stayed at RSTC with my new friends from other regions of Indonesia who joined the same program (SEAMEO SEA-TEACHERS). There were exchange students from other countries who stayed at RSTC too. They were from Vietnam, Thailand, and China. They joined different programs.

We were six females and three males in total who came from Indonesia. My five females friends and I shared the same room. The bed room is quite wide, with 6 single beds, long cupboards, two studying tables, one standing mirror, one bathroom and one rest room.
As we had just known each other because of the program, I was thinking of any possible interesting experience that might happen for being placed in the same room with these new buddies. It did not take a long time to get along well with them. For sure, we had different characteristics to be coped with to each other. But in the end, we did it very well. Our differences were not making us different, but unique.
Meet my new lovely buddies!
Note: you can click their names in the following brief descriptions to be linked to their reports about this program.
Zaenun Fauziah, the one's from STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor. She was diligent and the most unpredictable one among us. She was unpredictably beyond our first impression 😜 She'd love to walk around. The one who can be trusted as our navigator. Thank you for guiding these easy-to-get-lost persons. Our Ceuceu!
The next lovely one is Putu Nita Handayani. The one who's often being mistaken as a Pinoy. She's from Ganesha University, Bali. She is a jolly and energetic girl. Her laughter can be easily provoked us to laugh, too. Even if the joke was not funny at all, we would still be laughing because of her laughter 😂 (pssttt, she's a Balinese singer. You can watch her Single here. It isn't a paid promote. I did it sincerely since I loved her. I meant, her voice 😋)
Meet Nur Fajr Az'zahra! She's from Tadulako University, Palu. Our story teller. The way she retold stories using her Palu dialect was really amusing. An ordinary story would be really interesting when she's the one who retold it. I missed your Zebra's story, Ra! 😂
Another one from Tadulako University, Palu is Farwa Angraini Apok. This little cute girl with her innocent words were really hard to be described 😆 A sleepy head who loved to be in the moving hostel (read: jepneey) 😂 She's the first lovely one who would cherish us during the hectic times, when we were busy with our demonstration preparation. I knew I often said this, I love you, Awa 😋
The last but not least female one is Ariza Fitriani Safira. My best travel partner ever! Even tough we were from the same university, we had just known each other because of the selection for the program. She shattered my first impression on her. She was not any longer a calm and supple girl 😝. There are lots of things I'd like to tell about her. Maybe later, in another post which is dedicated to talk about our travel experiences 😁 Thank you for being my lovely pillow-able younger sister, Za. Lots of love!
The last one who's also from Tadulako University is Muhammad Iqra. The one who liked to do stand up comedy. He was liked our daddy for he brought many food stocks. Thank you for providing us with your Abon, Qra. Your Abon was the real savior 😁
The next one is our chief, Mandala, who's from Ganesha University. We'd like to tease him that "You're the most handsome man today, because you cooked and gave us food." He was a good partner in discussing about the teaching demonstration. He even gave me some suggestions in conducting the teaching activities. Thank you, chief. I really missed your food experiments 😆
And the last one is Rangga. He's also from Ganesha University just like Nita and Mandala. He liked to tease us with his annoying jokes 😂 Our true document-er. Btw, I do love all of videos that he took. I am strongly suggested you to be a Vlogger, Ngga! As my appreciation, I will sincerely promote his video, too 😝 You can watch our documentary videos during the program by clicking here.
The moments when we were encouraged each other were really touched me. So do the laughter that we shared when the preparation for teaching demonstration was frustrated us. Thank you for being such lovely sisters and brothers with endless supports and laughter during those challenging times, guys. We had always found ways to entertain ourselves!😆
Besides my students teachers partners, there were also Pooper (Thailand), Fa (Thailand), Nat (Thailand), Wengsing (China), Thao (Vietnam), Ate (Philippines), and Kuya (Philippines) who were just liked my second family here. We cooked. We shared. We laughed. We gathered at the living room. Every moments were priceless. They really made me feel the meaning of 'unity in diversity'.
We had also Ana, Janella, Tetang, Sunshine and Ma'am Bernadeth who gave us such a nice companion in Philippines. Thank you, every ones. It was really good to have you as my new friends 🌻
There were still many people I met that haven't mentioned in this writing. Even tough, they also have important roles in creating good moments, that made me feel like "I'm home".
.
I really appreciated all of your existences, every ones. Thank you for existing!
With love,
🌻
